Mail service is available to inmates Monday through Friday, excluding holidays

  • All incoming mail must include the inmate name, data number, senders name and return address
  • There is no limit to the amount of incoming mail an inmate may receive
  • All incoming mail is searched for contraband prior to delivery to the inmate, any item suspected to contain contraband will not be delivered to the inmate and may be subject to further investigation
    • No more than 5 photos may be received per day
    • Photos larger than 4" x 6" will not be accepted
    • Photos that show nudity, sexual acts, gangs or violence will not be accepted
    • Polaroid photos will not be accepted
    • Greeting cards or calendars larger than 6" x 12" will not be accepted
      • All greeting cards will be photocopied.  Copies will be distributed to the inmate
      • All greeting cards with audio devices, metal or hard plastic will not be accepted
  • Legal mail is searched in the presence of the inmate during delivery
  • Pre-stamped envelopes are available for purchase through the Inmate commissary
  • Postage for mailing bulky items is available for purchase through the Records Office
  • Indigent inmates are provided writing material and postage at no charge
