All personal property and clothing is taken from the inmate during admission and securely stored until the inmate's release.

  • Inmates may release all personal property to a friend/family member by completing a Personal Property Release Form.
    • Inmates must release all of their personal property or none of it. Exceptions are made for emergency release of specific items as approved by the Records Supervisor
    • Inmates may release money from their account to an individual on their approved visitor's list one time during their incarceration
  • Inmates who are transferred to other detention facilities may release their personal property to a friend or family member by completing a 30 Day Property Release Form.  This property must be picked up within 30 days of the inmate transfer. Personal property not picked up within 30 days will be destroyed.
